This brush works really well for detangling my long, thick, curly hair. The only issue I had was during the first use when the brush came apart (horizontal piece detached from vertical, bristle pieces) while brushing. It was a bit of a pain to constantly reassemble, but has since held up much better with subsequent brushing. It’s also virtually snag-free and pain-free!
