    I bought this brush after seeing boar bristle hybrid brushes recommended for moving natural oils from the scalp onto the hair strands and being overall beneficial for hair and scalp care. As a first impression review, I can say that my hair is noticeably smoother and softer after one use. I have thick, wavy hair and greatly appreciate the sturdy handle and comfortable design. The bristles and “paddle cushion” on this brush are very stiff and strong and the brush overall feels of high quality. The bristles are work great and are average length, but if I had one wish it would be for longer bristles to provide a “deeper brush”. I don’t know how that would effect the design functionality but I do wish I could brush through larger sections at a time after detangling.
