    Wow! This is my first boar hairbrush, and it is amazing. I always buy flat hairbrushes; however, they are plastic with ceramic around the edge. What a difference the boar hair bristles make. I have wavy hair and live in San Antonio, where there is a lot of humidity. I am always dealing with frizz. Not any longer. This brush leaves my hair so smooth and frizz free.     A friend purchased this set and recommended it to me. I have long, thick hair and the bristles are going through it gently, leaving a smooth finish. I find the large brush, which works best, is rather heavy, but it glides well. I gave the small one to my mother who loves it. Also, the comb provided cleans out the big brush without damaging or breaking the bristles.
