I have used many boar bristle brushes, some of which I love, but I have been searching for one that has the addition of thr nylon bristles for detailing. Boar bristles on their own are great, but they tend to make hair staticky and hard to brush through. But this brush set changes that! It deranged beautifully and does not make my hair too staticky. The nylon bristles are longer than the boar bristles, so watch some videos on how to brush your hair properly with this. You may have to start by brushing your hair upside down to get to the roots at the top of your head. Overall, this brush feels great and works wonderfully. I bought a second set for my sister and I hope that she loves it as much as I do.

Glides through hair without pulling. Goes through tangles easy. Nice shape. The small one is for my granddaughter who is 2 and it is the perfect size for her. She loves to brush her hair and it does not pull her hair. The rubber hair bands was a nice surprise the comb that came with the set is a very nice size and not flimsy like some other combs

I have been wanting to cut my hair due to its changes in texture and being so long… I thought I would give this a try because I hate that my hair gets so tangled up because it’s changing from straight when I was a teen to now being wavy.. when I brush it with a regular paddle brush I’m left with a poofy mess. I got this for several reasons! One of which was because it had a miniature brush that looked to be of the same quality as the larger brush; that I’m either going to keep to have for when my granddaughter comes over or give it to her for her birthday! It also came with what looked to be a fairly nice looking and functional comb, and when I received it, there was a small, clear pouch with plenty of those small, plastic bands you use to put your hair up. Unfortunately, I have very fine, thin hair and even though boar bristled brushes are recommended, this brush is more course feeling when I brush my hair than I’m comfortable with! However, I intend to give the larger brush to my oldest daughter for her birthday; who has fairly thick hair, and I believe this brush will be perfect for her! The comb feels nice in my hand. It is larger than your typical comb and the teeth are further apart. It feels sturdy, not flimsy, and I really like how it feels in my hand and my hair!
